A drow mercenary group, the Bregan D'aerthe is frequently employed by the ruling houses of Menzoberranzan in their struggles for dominance.
Notably non-matriarchal, the group was founded and is led by the outcast rogue Jarlaxle Baenre. It is mainly composed of drow males from the fallen houses of Menzoberranzan or the ruined city of Ched Nasad.
The Bregan D'aerthe serves the highest bidder, and currently undermines House Xorlarrin on behalf of undisclosed interests.
